Paul Kings

I am an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC) with a wide range of architectural expertise across a variety of sectors.  My experience ranges from new build hospitals and primary schools to private home extensions and sensitive church repairs.

I studied architecture at the University of Greenwich and later at the University of Lincoln during which time I worked at a large conservation architecture practice.

My experience and training led me to obtain my AABC accreditation over ten years ago.  Since then my ongoing work in the historic built environment has enabled me to work on numerous Heritage Lottery Funded projects as well as deliver training on behalf of Historic England across the country.

I enjoy the exploration of architecture and design; gaining an understanding of a client’s needs and wishes before balancing their brief with the site context and guiding their project through design options.

I was pleased to be selected as a judge on the 2019 Norfolk Association of Architects Design & Craftsmanship Awards and now look forward to being a Conservation Consultant and judge for the 2020 RIBA Eastern Region Awards.
