Leigh Town Hall

We acted as conservation architects supporting the local authority in applying for listed building consent to refurbish this Grade II listed town hall. 

 

Proposals included opening up access between existing shop units and the main entrance hall to create improved public access throughout.

The newly refurbished spaces will provide improved facilities for the public whilst respecting the character of this impressive building which Pevsner described as being "an exceptionally good building, expressive yet not showy".
